MEET THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AMY SIEGLER

We are proud to introduce our remarkable Executive Director, Amy Siegler, an extraordinary individual whose journey with National Chorale spans an awe-inspiring 17 seasons. Starting as an Administrative Assistant, Amy's unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with her thirst for knowledge, propelled her forward in the organization. Her story is a testament to the power of dedication and hard work, proving that with passion and perseverance, dreams can become a reality.

With a Bachelor of Music from the prestigious University of the Arts in Philadelphia and a background in voice, Amy's musical talents have taken her to incredible heights, including auditioning to tour with the legendary Patti LaBelle. After college, Amy moved from Philadelphia to Honolulu and, finally, to New York City to pursue a career in music performance. She graced renowned venues such as The Rainbow Room, Windows on the World, and the illustrious Vanderbilt Estate, where she moved audiences with her vocal prowess. But it was not until she joined National Chorale that she discovered her true calling - inspiring the next generation of musicians. Amy fell in love with the organization's education programs and commitment to nurturing young talent. Today, she proudly oversees all aspects of the National Chorale's Education Programs, reaching out to schools across New York City's five boroughs.

As Program Director for the Chorale's Vocal Partnership with the Professional Performing Arts High School (PPAS) in Manhattan, Amy has personally mentored and guided budding artists, instilling in them the belief that their dreams are within reach. Amy's impact extends far beyond the classroom. She has been the driving force behind the Chorale's Elementary, Middle, and High School Choral Festivals, providing hundreds of students with life-changing performance opportunities. Her vision has paved the way for these young performers to shine on some of the most prestigious stages, including David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center.

Beyond her role at National Chorale, Amy's personal achievements have been nothing short of remarkable - collaborating with MoMA for the live performances of Allora & Calzadill's Fault Lines, where she showcased her ability to blend art forms seamlessly and create engaging and immersive experiences. Amy orchestrated an awe-inspiring choral and orchestral performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, featuring students from the Professional Performing Arts High School (PPAS) Vocal Program and the Alvin Ailey Dance Program.

Amy's unwavering dedication to music and the arts has been the guiding light throughout her journey with National Chorale. As she looks ahead to the future, she is excited to continue producing live performances that touch hearts and inspire souls. Her mission remains clear - to foster the next generation of musicians and audience members, leaving an enduring legacy of creativity and passion.
